Terms and Conditions

  • A Provisional Booking can be made by email, telephone or in writing and will only become secure on receipt of the £150 non -returnable deposit, which is payable within 7 days. It will be assumed that you agree to the Terms and Conditions and in paying the deposit, accept those.

  • A Confirmed Booking will be issued upon the receipt of this deposit.

  • The balance of the rent must be paid 8 weeks before the commencement of the holiday. If a booking is made within that period, payment must be made in full, having agreed to the Terms and Conditions.

  • The above payments may be made by Cheque or by Bank Transfer. Cheques are to be made payable to "O O Everard and Son - Church Farm" and posted to our home address. For Bank Transfer, please contact us for the necessary details. At the moment, we do not accept credit or debit cards.

  • Confirmation of your booking will be sent to you by post, showing your holiday details. Please tell us immediately if the details are not correct.

  • By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract and your deposit is non-refundable. Please contact us as soon as possible in the event of cancellation or any other change either by telephone/email/recorded delivery letter. If you cannot take you holiday and the booking cannot be re-let, you are still liable to pay for the booking in full, even if we have not yet received your balance.

  • If we succeed in re-letting your booking, you are no longer liable for the balance, or we will refund it to you if you have already paid it.

  • Please note that your deposit is not refundable under any circumstances. We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover this cost.

  • We would only cancel your holiday if your accommodation were unavailable for reasons beyond our control and  we would refund all monies paid by you for the rental of the property. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.

  • Check-in time is after 3pm on the day of arrival, unless by prior arrangement.

  • Check-out time is by 10am on the day of departure, unless by prior arrangement. The keys must be returned at departure.

  • Visitors are requested to leave the house in a clean and tidy condition.

  • Please take care when staying in our property. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages, which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. All we ask is that you report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage is significant, and we may make an additional charge of £25 if you did not report this. An inspection of the house will be made on departure, although we reserve the right to seek compensation for damage that is found after your departure.

  • Dogs (maximum of 2) are welcome to stay by prior arrangement, with a charge of £25 per dog. Please keep dogs off all furniture, don't allow your dogs upstairs and don't leave your dogs unattended in the house or garden.We reserve the right to charge for cleaning and repair costs if your dog damages the property or its contents. Dog bedding is not provided. Please bring with you and use your own dog poop bags. No other pets/animals are permitted within the property.

  • Bed linen and towels are provided and changed on a weekly basis. These are not for outdoor use, so please bring your own beach towels.

  • Smoking is not permitted in any part of the property.

  • The use of candles is not permitted in the property.

  • All electricity, hot water and heat is included in the rental, apart from fuel for the wood-burning stove. An initial amount of fuel is provided; thereafter it can be purchased, at cost. When using the wood burner, please use the fireguard and keep children and pets under close supervision and ensure the fire is safely out before you leave the property or go to bed.

  • Any complaints should be notified promptly in person to the Church Farm owners or their representatives who will endeavour to deal with the complaint quickly. It is essential that you contact us as soon as any problem arises so that it can be speedily resolved. In particular, complaints of a transient nature ( for example, regarding preparation or heating your property) cannot be possibly investigated unless you register your concern whilst in residence.

  • We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicle or possession, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.

  • Any data collected during the course of this booking will be stored on our computer(s).With your permission, we may from time to time contact you about promotions and offers. We will not share your details with any third party.
